Celebrating 35 years of making Medicare more accessible, affordable, and equitable!

Annual Awards Event Goes Virtual

The Medicare Rights Center’s Annual Awards Event will be held virtually on October 19 at 6:00 PM Three exceptional individuals will be honored for their impact and commitment to excellence in health care and aging services: Gerry E. Goodrich, member of the Medicare Rights Board of Directors; Nancy Harvey, CEO of Service Program for Older People; and Jed Levine, president emeritus and director of external relations at Caring Kind.

Andy Slavitt, former administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, general partner of Town Hall Ventures, and board chair of United States of Care, will be a special guest, and Delores Bowman, senior client services associate at Medicare Rights, will receive special recognition for her 20 years of service.

This year’s theme accurately depicts the organization and its partners since the coronavirus pandemic began: “Ready, Reliable, Resilient.” While Medicare Rights will miss seeing so many of its supporters in the ballroom, the organization is delighted that the online celebration will make it possible for many more to attend.
