As a certified elder law attorney, Nancy Rice’s work often intersects with the Medicare Rights Center’s mission of helping people with Medicare understand their rights and benefits. Her practice, Rice & Quattrone, PC, specifically focuses on elder law, estate planning and administration, and guardianships.
Nancy explained that many of her firm’s clients enter rehabilitation facilities after their hospital stays, which can be an overwhelming transition. “It is critical for patients to get maximum rehabilitation services to allow them to return to a healthy, productive life,” said Nancy.
When asked what made her decide to become a monthly donor to Medicare Rights, Nancy said, “Times are tough––Medicare Rights provides a critical service and does it well. Most of my clients do not have the resources to pay privately for care, so knowledge of and advocacy for their Medicare benefits is critical.”
